Terms and Conditions

Plyt is part of Talkplaces Ltd and we aim to provide an excellent service and process to all our customers.  If you have any suggestions or comments we would be delighted to hear from you via our “Contact Us” section.

Please be aware that some of the pieces within the games are small and could constitute a choking hazard.  We ask that all our customers take great care with these products, especially with small children.

The Company may change these Terms from time to time.

The copyright in material on this website is owned by Talkplaces Ltd and protected by the copyright laws of the United Kingdom, international copyright treaties and all other applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

You are entitled to copy any information for your own personal use but may not republish any such information in any manner without the prior written consent of Talkplaces Ltd.

You agree not to remove any product identification, copyright notices or legends or other notices or proprietary restrictions from any of the material or information contained in these web pages.

Any unauthorised downloading, retransmission, or other copying or modification of any of the contents of this website may be in breach of statutory or common law rights which could be the subject of legal action.

Discount Promotions

Talkplaces Ltd may periodically provide a discount code for a specific promotional period.

Where the promotion has a specific end date, it will be stated on the information provider (e.g. flyer, website). 

All discount promotions will be limited to a maximum number of games. Should that limit be reached before the end date orders will be honoured on a first come first served basis. 

Ordering Process

Once an order is submitted, payment is taken through our payment service provider and Talkplaces Ltd then undertakes to supply the customer with the product within 10 days unless the product is unavailable.

All prices shown include VAT at the appropriate rate. Orders for delivery to countries outside the EU are processed with no VAT as local Taxes will be applied on arrival. Note that Talkplaces Ltd are not liable for local taxes and these remain the responsibility of the customer.

Talkplaces Ltd reserves the right to refuse any order at their discretion.   All customers will be advised of this via e-mail

 

Product Availability

The items featured on the Company’s website are offered for sale subject to availability.

Due to the lead times involved in the production of Plyt, there are occasions when we might be out of stock and the product is unavailable for delivery. In such circumstances, we will make every effort to inform customers of an expected in stock date and the customer can choose whether to place an order and wait or to order when the product is in stock.

 If the customer has already placed an order before being advised of an out of stock, the customer will be entitled to have the money returned in full.

The Company reserves the right to cancel orders for items unavailable or sold out and refund any monies paid.

Payment

Payment can be made via our payment service provider Paypal. Paypal accepts all leading debit and credit cards. No payment details are collected or held by Talkplaces Ltd. To find details about Paypal, including their security details, you can access their site at www.paypal.com.

Talkplaces Ltd will only accept cheques by prior written agreement. Cheques, in GBP only, should be made payable and sent to Talkplaces Ltd, PO Box 862, Lymm, WA15 5LB.

Goods are not sent until the cheque has cleared.

Delivery of Goods

Delivery of goods is calculated according to the weight of the products you order and the destination.

The customer is responsible for entering their Address and Post Code correctly. Customers will be notified by Royal Mail or the courier when items cannot be delivered and arrangements can be made with the Post Office or the Courier for further delivery or collection.    

Customers will be notified when items are returned if the Post Office or the Courier has been unable to deliver over a period of time.  In this circumstance we will charge you for the Postal element of your order again before we will ship your order back to you.

All shipping is done using Royal Mail or a Courier. You may select the type of service you wish on the shopping cart. Our default setting for UK is 2nd class which aims for delivery within 5 working days. To help provide added security and ensure you receive the game as ordered, we would recommend for all UK shipments you select the signed for option.

Not all countries outside the UK are currently loaded within our shipping database, if you wish to order and your country is not represented please let us know and we will be happy to load it for you.

Talkplaces Ltd generally despatch orders next business day where products are in stock. All delivery times quoted are intended as a guide only. Whilst the Company will take all reasonable steps to ensure that estimated delivery times are met, the Company will not accept any liability whatsoever for delays caused by events beyond our control whether from carriers or suppliers or for any consequential loss of profit as a result.

Quality and Returns

The right to return goods is protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.

Talkplaces Ltd will to the best of our ability ensure that the product you receive will be complete and fit for its intended use. If this is not the case then you have up to 7 days from the day after you received the product to return it to us for a full refund. You may contact us via email at [email protected] (for a quicker response we would suggest email) or in writing to Talkplaces Ltd, PO Box 862, Lymm, WA15 5LB and we will attempt to rectify the situation with you.

Talkplaces Ltd will attempt to rectify any issues you have with the game however if the game must be returned, it must be returned to us at the address shown Talkplaces Ltd, PO Box 862, Lymm, WA15 5LB.

Goods returned for refund or credit must be received by the Company in perfect saleable condition and in their original, undamaged packaging and in the original quantity as specified within 14 days of receipt.

The Company will consider the overall condition of the goods being returned when making a refund and reserves the right to withhold a percentage of the refund value of returned goods if they are not in suitable condition for resale at their original catalogue price. Any refund can take up to 30 days to process.

The Company will not be liable for any carriage or costs incurred in returning goods unless they are defective or have been sent in error. The Company recommends that the Customer receives proof of postage when returning any goods.

The terms of this contract do not affect your statutory rights.

Competitions

All official competitions run by Talkplaces Ltd will be advertised on the website.

Details of each competition together with entry guidelines will be provided for each competition.

It is expected that all participating people or companies commit to following the instructions to ensure that the competition is a success and enjoyed by all participants. Talkplaces Ltd reserves the right to remove a participant in the event that the participant is not demonstrating appropriate conduct such that it might spoil the event for other participants.

Whilst Talkplaces Ltd will make every effort to resolve any issues that might arise Talkplaces Ltd accepts no responsibility or liability for competitions.

By entering the competition the participants agree to participate in such promotional activity and material as Talkplaces Ltd may require. This might involve the use of photographs, videos and statements. Talkplaces Ltd will not disclose any personal details of any participants other than those used for promotional activity.

You can find out latest news and results of the competitions via the website.

Other people or companies are free to run their own Plyt competitions and post information on the website. Please contact us if you wish to do this. Whilst Talkplaces Ltd will try to offer the benefit of our experience to ensure successful competitions are run, Talkplaces Ltd accepts no responsibility or liability for any competition run by a third party. Any material deemed inappropriate will be removed from the site

Limitation of Liability

The Company shall not be liable for any indirect, special or consequential loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the supply of the Goods to the Customer or their use examples of which include claims for loss of profits, loss of contracts, loss of opportunity, costs and expenses incurred or other claims for compensation.

The Customer must observe and comply with all applicable regulations and legislation, including obtaining all necessary customs, import or other permits to purchase goods from the Company. The importation or exportation of certain Goods to the Customer may be prohibited by certain national laws. The Company makes no representation and accepts no liability in respect of the export or import of the Goods purchased.
